General comments- Cape Point Vineyards makes a fine Sauvignon Blanc in cool conditions, with great longevity. They have won numerous 5 stars in John Platter for their white wines. Savennieres- Domaine du Closel. Organic. Purchased from Michael Fridjon’s Reciprocal. Drunk with Clive before with smoked salmon and rye bread. Was outstanding, but this vintage was a bit old. Moulin Touchais 1975- Coteaux du Layon, also from the Loire. A very unusual desert wine, purchased from Caroline Fine Wines with tremendous longevity.
